Dear Wayne Dental Care Family,

We are excited to announce that we are once again able to provide comfortable dental care for you, our wonderful patients. Wayne Dental Care has reopened on June 8, 2020!

We hope this email finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing at Wayne Dental Care has remained the same: our constant commitment to your safety.

As you have surely seen during your visits to our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our strict processes have consistently made the care you receive at Wayne Dental Care both safe and comfortable.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continue to closely monitor the recommendations of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

When it is time for your next appointment, you may see some changes along with our already strict infection control protocols.

Some of these updates include:

  • Our office will communicate with you ahead of your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • When entering the office, we will ask you to use hand sanitizer which we will supply. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and other items which cannot be properly disinfected. You are encouraged to bring your own iPad, reading materials, etc.
  • Should you choose, you may wait in your car and be texted when we are ready to bring you directly to the treatment area.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered slightly limited options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the office at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 610-293-1227 or visit our website at www.waynedentalcare.com

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends in the safest way possible.

Sincerely,
Dr Handel, Dr Brenner and the Team at Wayne Dental Care

Make Your Smile Complete Again With Dentures in Wayne

Most people don’t think of dentures in Wayne as being especially versatile. With modern advancements, including dental implant dentures, they are a great option for replacing a large number of teeth.

Dentures are another facet of dentistry that can help restore function and appearance by replacing missing teeth. They are removable unless a denture is implant-supported. But it is a more cost-effective way for patients that are concerned about the expense of bridges or implants to replace teeth that they have been missing for a while.

One of the best things that's happened in dentistry is the implant-supported denture, where we've had patients over the years come in struggling with a denture where they can't eat, they can't talk, they're socially embarrassed. And once they've experienced a denture that's implant-supported, they can bite into and chew anything. Their teeth don't move at all. They can speak the way they normally did when they had all their teeth.

So it's a way to have your teeth back comfortably and being confident that most patients who wear dentures haven't experienced most their life. Having your teeth, as opposed to having no teeth or missing teeth, has dramatic effects on your health, on your life expectancy, your ability to digest food, that research has shown dramatically changes for every tooth you lose. So we've seen patients come in who were missing anywhere from one tooth to all their teeth restore that problem and have a dramatic change in their life, physically, dentally, and most dramatically, socially.

They will:

  • Restore your full oral functionality
  • Fill out your face for a more youthful appearance
  • Require less invasive treatment than some other kinds of replacement teeth
  • Provide a more affordable way of replacing many teeth
  • Offer several options for teeth replacement, including the possibility of receiving a same-day smile

To discuss your teeth replacement options, call 610-227-6143 to schedule a consultation with one of our restorative dentists.

Enjoy Added Security With Dental Implant Dentures

Most denture wearers have experienced instances in which their replacement teeth loosen or even become dislodged, often while eating. That’s not surprising, given that suction and adhesive are all that keep the teeth in place. You won’t experience embarrassing slippage with dental implant dentures, since implants are actually embedded in your jaw.

Implant dentures also provide:

  • Comfort – Since they stay in place, they won’t rub against your gums.
  • Easy Care – You won’t need adhesive to keep them in place or special solutions to keep them clean.
  • A Strong Bite – With implants, you’ll enjoy a bite nearly as strong as you had before you lost your teeth.
  • Better Bone Density – Implants function like your natural tooth roots, keeping the bone in your jaw strong and healthy.
  • Longevity – Conventional dentures need to be relined every few years to maintain a snug fit. Dental implant dentures won’t need this maintenance.

With All-on-4 dental implants, you may even be able to get both your implants and replacement teeth in a single appointment. Not all practices offer the All-on-4 procedure. We offer a lifetime guarantee for implants!

Choose Conventional Removable Dentures Instead

You may lack enough bone density for implants or want a more affordable tooth replacement option. If so, you can also choose:

  • Full Removable Dentures – Replace all the teeth in your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both jaws with these restorations. They remove easily for cleaning.
  • Partial Removable Dentures – These dentures attach to remaining teeth to fill gaps in your smile. Like full dentures, they’re easy to remove for oral hygiene.
