Dear Wayne Dental Care Family,

We are excited to announce that we are once again able to provide comfortable dental care for you, our wonderful patients. Wayne Dental Care has reopened on June 8, 2020!

We hope this email finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing at Wayne Dental Care has remained the same: our constant commitment to your safety.

As you have surely seen during your visits to our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our strict processes have consistently made the care you receive at Wayne Dental Care both safe and comfortable.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continue to closely monitor the recommendations of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

When it is time for your next appointment, you may see some changes along with our already strict infection control protocols.

Some of these updates include:

  • Our office will communicate with you ahead of your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • When entering the office, we will ask you to use hand sanitizer which we will supply. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and other items which cannot be properly disinfected. You are encouraged to bring your own iPad, reading materials, etc.
  • Should you choose, you may wait in your car and be texted when we are ready to bring you directly to the treatment area.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered slightly limited options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the office at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 610-293-1227 or visit our website at www.waynedentalcare.com

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends in the safest way possible.

Sincerely,
Dr Handel, Dr Brenner and the Team at Wayne Dental Care

Receive a New Smile in One Appointment With Same-Day Smile in Wayne

It can take months to get dental implants, but you may not have to wait that long if you’re a candidate for a same-day smile in Wayne. Our dentists have the expertise to attach a whole arch of replacement teeth to just a few implants, allowing you to receive a beautiful and functional smile in just one visit to our office. You can avoid the healing period of up to six months that is sometimes needed between implant placement and restoration.

Doctor Brian Handel on Same Day Smiles

Well, same-day smile can range pretty dramatically from bonding to enhance a smile, change the shape, to restoring someone's mouth where their bite is comfortable again and they can chew, and relieving TMJ pain because their bite was off. So it can range from color change to overall aesthetics or function.

Same-day smiles for us is typically a cosmetic procedure, where a patient comes in, they hate the shapes, sizes, or colors of their teeth. And in one day, we can change that to their liking.

The main thing we use to help prepare us and a patient for any change in their smile is photography. We do a lot of photography before and after to make sure the patient's going to get what they expect. So we can take a picture, we can image that picture and show the patient what we think they're saying. And we don't move forward until we're in total agreement.

If we do same-day smiles, usually it's really not invasive. It's painless. Most of the time we do that treatment, we don't have to numb a patient, and they're completely comfortable. So it's really nice for the patient that way.

Getting a teeth-in-one-day procedure is:

  • Quicker – Fewer implants will be placed to support your replacement teeth, so the process takes less time.
  • More Comfortable – The procedure is less invasive than other implant treatments. You’ll likely only need local anesthesia, though of course you can also receive dental sedation if you’d like.
  • Less Costly – Since fewer dental implants are used for this full-mouth reconstruction, you’ll pay less.

To see if you can receive teeth-in-one-day, call 610-227-6143 to schedule a consultation with one of our implant dentists.

Receive Replacement Teeth You Can Use Right Away

Our dentists will likely use a treatment called All-on-4®, using just four implants to support your new smile, or a similar procedure called All-on-6. They’ll use our cone beam CT scan, which gives us a detailed 3D view of your mouth’s infrastructure. This enables them to determine how many implants are needed and find the strongest areas of your jaw to support them.

You’ll receive a temporary restoration, so you never need to be without teeth during your healing period. Once your jaw fuses to your new implants, in a process called osseointegration, you’ll return to our office to receive your final restoration. You’ll be able to smile freely and enjoy full oral functionality while your implants heal! You can receive the treatment in your upper jaw, your lower jaw, or both jaws.

For a same-day smile in Wayne, call 610-227-6143. At your consultation, don’t forget to ask about our lifetime guarantee that we provide patients who simply follow our aftercare instructions.
