Dear Wayne Dental Care Family,

We are excited to announce that we are once again able to provide comfortable dental care for you, our wonderful patients. Wayne Dental Care has reopened on June 8, 2020!

We hope this email finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing at Wayne Dental Care has remained the same: our constant commitment to your safety.

As you have surely seen during your visits to our office, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our strict processes have consistently made the care you receive at Wayne Dental Care both safe and comfortable.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continue to closely monitor the recommendations of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

When it is time for your next appointment, you may see some changes along with our already strict infection control protocols.

Some of these updates include:

  • Our office will communicate with you ahead of your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • When entering the office, we will ask you to use hand sanitizer which we will supply. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
  • You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and other items which cannot be properly disinfected. You are encouraged to bring your own iPad, reading materials, etc.
  • Should you choose, you may wait in your car and be texted when we are ready to bring you directly to the treatment area.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered slightly limited options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We will do our best to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the office at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 610-293-1227 or visit our website at www.waynedentalcare.com

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends in the safest way possible.

Sincerely,
Dr Handel, Dr Brenner and the Team at Wayne Dental Care

Doctor Brian Handel on In Office Membership and Warranties

We offer a membership plan in our office for patients that don't have dental insurance, and we found that we wanted to be able to help any of our patients that were in that situation, so it offers them a courtesy on all our fees. There's no maximum like there is in insurance. There's no limitations on what they can use it for, and it's a nice way to provide them access to dental care they might not have been able to afford.

So on top of that, we offer a lifetime guarantee on all the treatment we provide. It's a way that patients can have their care done and have confidence that whatever they have done and they've invested in isn't going to break down and deteriorate, and then they have to come out of pocket again for the same thing. The only thing we ask for is that they take responsibility in their home care and they keep up with their cleanings in the office and that we can check things at least twice a year. But we've found that patients that have taken advantage of that have been incredibly happy, and first comment out of their mouth is that “If I knew I could have had that type of confidence, I would have had this treatment done a long time ago.”

  • Can you help me get rid of my headaches?
    A:

Many patients are surprised to find out that we can address some headache concerns. If you are grinding or clenching your teeth as you sleep, you may be disturbing your TMJ and causing headaches or migraines to occur. If you notice pain, popping, or clicking in your jaw, mention it at your next dental appointment. We may be able to get you relief with a comfortable night mouthguard.

  • Can I Bring My Children to Your Office?
    A:

Of course! We welcome children, even those who have just begun getting teeth. Bring them in for “happy visits” to introduce them to our dentists and staff. As they become more comfortable with us, we’ll introduce gentle cleanings and preventive services that help keep their teeth cavity-free. We’re also happy to answer any questions you have about their care, from toothpaste to teething. We can accommodate multiple children in a single block of time; just mention it when scheduling your appointment.

  • I’m an Adult Who Needs Orthodontic Treatment. Can You Help?
    A:

Sure! We offer ClearCorrect orthodontics. Instead of metal braces, you’ll wear clear plastic aligners. Since they’re nearly invisible, they won’t stand out in professional or social situations. You can remove the aligners for meals, so you can eat whatever you’d like. Many adults complete their treatment in about 12 months, which is months less than the typical treatment with braces.

  • Can I Get Dental Implants to Replace My Teeth?
    A:

Yes! Unlike many dentists, we offer both dental implant placement and restoration. So you can get your entire dental implants procedure from us, without visiting outside specialists. One of our dentists has even been featured on the Discovery Health Channel for his implant expertise. We offer procedures to replace any number of teeth, from a single tooth replacement with a dental crown to a full-mouth reconstruction with dental implant dentures.

  • Can I Be Confident in the Quality of Your Work?
    A:

Our dentists have advanced training and have been honored with many awards. If that’s not enough to reassure you, we also offer a lifetime guarantee for our treatments. If you follow our aftercare recommendations and still experience problems, we will fix them at no cost to you.

  • Can You Help Me Improve the Appearance of Stained Teeth?
    A:

We have several cosmetic dentistry options that can correct the appearance of stained teeth. Our dentists can help you determine which one will work best for you based on the severity of staining and other factors. Surface stains can usually be removed with professional teeth whitening. More stubborn discoloration will need to be covered, either with dental veneers or a tooth bonding treatment.
